With a solid technical base in manufacturing, process and packaging systems design as well as substantial operating floor experience, Polytron's Project Managers and Project Leads demonstrate strong project execution expertise. Our Project Managers and Project Leads are certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) as Project Management Professionals (PMP) and they diligently apply Project Management best practices to all projects and work processes.
The Project Delivery Teams (PDT) - a cross-functional team of project stakeholders who create the shared vision - promotes a "common purpose" through defined project success criteria that align the project team to achieve project success: shorter startup, and a sound ROI for your business.
We also utilize standard processes and tools - coupled with our client's own processes to customize a Project Execution Model (PEM) for each project. Developing and following the PEM reduces the project risks by ensuring that targets are met before moving on to the next task or phase.
Leveraging our System Analytics services in simulation and emulation modeling along with our expertise in Process, Packaging and Material Handling solutions and Technology Transfer and Training all drive the team to not just deliver a well engineered system, but also provide the operational knowledge and understanding of the system to ensure its long term success at world-class levels.
Our Project Delivery Teams are the proven method we employ to ensure that our clients meet their Business Objectives.
The Project Delivery Teams (PDT) Methodology is based on four cornerstones:
The following Key Differences are readily apparent when Polytron use their Project Delivery Team approach:
Leveraging our System Analytics services in simulation and emulation modeling along with our expertise in Process, Packaging and Material Handling solutions and Technology Transfer and Training all drive the team to not just deliver a well engineered system, but also provide the operational knowledge and understanding of the system to ensure its long term success at world-class levels.
Our project experience provides the capability to manage the entire engineering project from concept through successful commissioning and beyond based on solid PMP practices. Working with the customer, we identify the level of project management needed, for the entire manufacturing system – from receiving through processing, utilities, building, packaging and warehousing. Project engineering management will include all communication, documentation of project direction, to ensure project scope, cost and schedule are well controlled.
One of the most critical points in an engineering project execution is Startup. This is the time when all elements of the engineering project come together to form an operating system - and Final Project Objectives are met.
To ensure that our Startups do not exceed the engineering project management schedule or budget, we develop a comprehensive Startup and Commissioning Plan that details the required sequence of events and resources necessary for achieving a steep Startup Curve. Nothing is left to chance... Hardware, Software, and Operator preparedness are all evaluated and necessary corrections are implemented promptly. All of these activities are conducted under the guidance of an experienced Startup Manager.
Our clients achieve a quicker Startup - achieving productivity goals sooner and keeping the engineering project cost well within budget when they utilize our Startup Management practices.
